A police operation led to two arrests in Wangaratta on Wednesday morning after they raided 10 locations throughout Wangaratta, Benalla, Winton and Melbourne, arresting 13 people in total.
Wangaratta Detective Senior Sergeant Garry Barton said the pair, arrested at Vernon Road and Hallett Crescent, had already been detained last September as a result of Operation Juliet.
Senior Sergeant Barton said the repeat offenders would be remanded for breaching a number of bail conditions.
“Breaches include committing some other offences like possessing drugs, firearms and cash,” he said.
“Last year we removed a lot of drug dealers off the streets.
“We granted bail and they allegedly snuck back into their old ways.”
Police also remanded another person in Winton, who also breached bail conditions.
Senior Sergeant Barton encouraged anybody with information about drug activity in their areas to call 1800 333 000.
