The Labor Government chief will be at Beechworth for two events.
He will announce that trout cod will now be able to be caught by anglers at lakes Sambell and Kerferd.
Then Mr Andrews will outline new regional tourism plans during a visit to Bridge Road Brewery.
Mr Andrews will be accompanied by Agriculture and Regional Development Minister Jaala Pulford on his visit to Beechworth.
It is the Wangaratta-raised premier's second stop in the North East as premier, after visiting his hometown in March to discuss the devastation wrought by the drug ice.
