The teenager showcased some good form with the Murray Bushrangers before returning to the side, with Bulldogs ruckman Matt Seiter excited to see what Wallace had learned from his time in the TAC Cup.
“I think he’s a little bit unlucky not to be playing with the Bushies, but we’ll gladly have him back in the side,” Seiter said.
“We want the ball in his hands, we need him to be a match-winner for us in the future, which he’s more than capable of being.”
After falling to a disappointing 62-point loss the last time the two sides met, Seiter said the Bulldogs had to get one back if they wanted to start building for next season.
“We need to start beating teams we’re supposed to beat,” Seiter said.
“We want a win from this game, with Daniel Bradshaw and Ben Hollands back there’s no excuses.”
