After reeling in an early Bandits lead, the Pioneers led by as much as 13 points, before the home side dug in their heels.
Inch by inch they worked back into the game in the second half, before Donte Nicholas equalised to send the game into overtime.
The Bandits kept coming in the extra five minutes, with Deba George and Alex Bogart King making clutch baskets to ultimately hand the home side a three point win over the Southern conference champions.
George top scored for the winners with 26 points, and was well supported by Nicholas (23) and the hard-working Cory Dixon (17).
More to come.
