It may be hard to imagine – but council is calling for residents to share their hopes for the city’s future on a sticky note.
Councillor Anna Speedie said council was seeking feedback as part of Wodonga: 2033 Vision, which was launched in 2008.
“We need to update our vision – it’s not about right here, right now,” she said.
“It’s about how the city will be for our kids and their kids and we need to set goals now to achieve those visions.”
Cr Speedie said there was a need for a second round of consultation as the city had changed significantly since 2008.
“People have said they wanted a city heart and we’ve done that,” she said.
“Now people want to create a stronger link between Wodonga and Albury,”
Ideas can be shared at Felltimber Community Centre until September 1, Baranduda Community Centre from September 3 to 11 and Wodonga Council from September 14 to 21.
