Convenor Cate Perry, who has been fighting for another facility based respite centre in Wodonga, has pushed back the official meeting until further notice.
But in the meantime, she said that she would hold an informal meeting with parents and other interested parties to discuss their concerns.
“I want to hear about what other parents see as a solution,” Ms Perry said.
“Only we know what it's like, it is a great opportunity to collectively achieve a common goal.”
The meeting will be held at Cafe Grove on Wednesday October 21 at 12.30pm.
Anyone wishing to attend should register their interest with Ms Perry on 0422 404 525.
