The school was one of six in Victoria to take part in Dementia Awareness Month.
Students unveiled their banner covered in hand prints and messages, which now hangs proudly from the school's fence.
Alzheimer's Australia VIC chief executive Maree McCabe said it was inspiring.
“For some it was for a grandparent and others said they did it for all the people in the world who have dementia,” she said.
“There is no better way to educate the community than through our children.”
The grade one to grade four students presented at their school assembly about dementia awareness.
Education support officer Cheryl Norman said they decided as a group to take on a community project.
“I'm so proud they got over their nerves and spoke at assembly and took on board that they might try and take care of people with dementia in the future,” she said.
