The State Government granted the school the money more than a year ago, in the 2014/15 financial year, to rebuild its facilities and construct a collocated early learning centre.
Member for Northern Victoria Wendy Lovell raised the issue in parliament on Thursday, saying the project seem to stall after the change in government.
She visited and spoke with the school earlier this month with Bill Tilley to get an update on the rebuild time line.
“The school is concerned at the delays in the works, and the council have written to the minister on two occasions, February 25 and May 4, regarding the delay,” Ms Lovell said.
“I am advised that the minister has not even given the school the courtesy of a reply to either piece of correspondence.”
Education Minister James Merlino was asked to immediately respond to the school council.
Ms Lovell wants him to guarantee demolition of the old buildings during September school holidays and start construction of the new buildings.
