Cassidy was undefeated in the 4 sets 41 games to 2 sets 35 games triumph on Saturday.

Honours were even after two sets before Thurgoona took control and claimed the next three and the winter pennant premiership.
Cassidy had fine support from teammates Jo Simpfendorfer, Trish Baldwin and Alison Barrett.
Sandra Allen was a strong contributor for the Wodonga side.
Lavington Purple withstood a strong challenge from Glenly in the section two decider.
Shanna Rogers, Meg O’Borne, and Beth Taylor combined well to complete three dominant sets, with Kris Young chipping in to give Lavington a nine-game buffer.
Pauline Banfield was in outstanding touch for Glenly.
St Patricks/Diggerville had the better of three close rubbers in their 4 sets to 2 triumph over Wodonga Bulldogs in the section one men’s grand final.
An unbeaten Troy Murphy was the key with back up coming from Isaac Dallinger and Harley McCartney.
Andrew Healy was best for Bulldogs with two sets including a singles.
Forest Hill Blues started strongly before club mates Wombats hit back hard in section two action.
Jesse Jones, Adam Hoy and Peter and Jack Penny withstood some late pressure to record a 4 sets 44 games to 2 sets 31 games salute.
Mark Manser was a two-set winner for Wombats.
In section 3, Thurgoona Bears turned their afternoon around claiming the final three rubbers and
the match over SPD White.
Brendan Tomlinson remained unbeaten for Bears with Tim Peverell, Rob Saunders and Noel Browne also contributing.
Graham Deaner was best for White.
After dropping the first set, SPD Green ran away with the section four decider against Wodonga/SPD.
Jack Nelson, Angus Barlow and Reece Filliponi all played a role in the victory while Cameron Gross and Clare D’Allessandro were good early for Wodonga/SPD.
Saturday pennant starts on October 10 and will run through to March at the Albury Grasscourts.
The juniors get underway the following week from 9.15am with officials keen to attract as many youngsters as possible.
