A Fairfax spokesman said it was engaged in active discussions with the office's landlord to renew lease arrangements following an inaccurate media report claiming it would close.
He said the lease was not linked to proposed changes involving Fairfax Production Services full-time equivalent employees, who provide advertising production support to Fairfax’s Australian Community Media division.
