The utility had a debut season to remember after joining the club from Queensland outfit Southport, polling 281 votes on Thursday night.
Grayson was outstanding across half back and through the midfield.
And in a huge boost, he’s signed on for next season as well.
Another first-year Raider, youngster Sam Murray, was next best with 243 votes, followed by Matt McDonald (230), Hayden Heta (202) and Ross Tungatalum (181).
Heta was well on his way to victory but didn’t poll a vote in rounds 13 to 18 when a severe foot injury restricted his early season form.
The Raiders tried to manage Heta’s foot injury by shifting him from the ruck to deep forward.
In the netball, it was Rachel Johnson who took out the top award.
Johnson finished on 78 votes, with Kirby Logie next best with 68.
