The Saints haven’t beaten the Bombers this season, with their last loss coming in the second semi-final by just five points.
Hayden Gemmill booted five for Kyabram that day, while Sam Sheldon was also dominant for the Bombers.
“We can play a lot better than we did two weeks ago,” Morgan said.
“But we’ve got to fix up some areas that we didn’t do so well in.”
While last year’s three-point grand final loss is still raw for some Saints supporters, the playing group has put it behind them.
Morgan knows Kyabram will be hard to beat, as the Saints search for their first flag since 1973 when they were in the O and M.
“Tom Sheldon, Jason Morgan ... their backline in general is really strong,” Morgan said.
“They run deep in the midfield. and they’ve got some top-end talent.”
Justin Sherman has led Kyabram to the grand final in just his first season as coach, but he says he’s not satisfied with just making the big dance.
“I’ve told the boys to embrace and enjoy the week but at the same time have a steely focus on what got us here,” Sherman said.
“One of the reasons why I came on board this year was help develop that younger tier and bring them through.
“The mix with the old and young is quite exciting.
“For them to get a taste of a grand final is a great stepping stone for their career.”
