Jack Careless, 20, will face court on the Border next month with police saying he had been arrested by detectives as part of Strike Force Rupas which was formed in August last year.
It has been probing the supply of ecstasy and ice in the Newcastle area.

Careless was arrested at Albury police station on Friday and charged with seven matters, including supplying a prohibited drug on an ongoing basis.
He’s alleged to have sold 31 tablets commonly known as MDA between November 29 2014 and January 25 2015.
He was given conditional bail and will face Albury Local Court on November 30.
The charging of Careless coincided with the related arrest of a man who allegedly supplied more than 30 times the large commercial quantity of a rare hallucinogenic drug known on the street as ‘‘Blue Scissors’’.
Ryan Steven Presbury, 22, of Cardiff, allegedly told investigators he thought the light blue tablets he was selling were ‘‘pingers’’, a street name for MDMA tablets, according to court documents.
The drug, referred to by police as 25I-NBOMe, has recently been included in Schedule 1 of the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985.
Presbury appeared in Newcastle Local Court on Friday charged with two counts of supplying a large commercial quantity of drugs, a charge that carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
He sought bail but magistrate Robert Stone adjourned the matter to Wednesday for more information about a medical condition that Mr Presbury said would require regular care.
Presbury is alleged to have supplied 2.53 grams or 10 tablets of ‘‘Blue Scissors’’ for $250 in the car park of a McDonald’s restaurant on April 7 this year.
The large commercial quantity for the drug is two grams, court papers state.
A few days later on April 10, Presbury is alleged to have supplied 67.30 grams or 270 of the tablets for $4500 at the same car park, court documents state.
He was arrested on Friday and taken to Newcastle police station where he allegedly made admissions.
He allegedly told police he supplied the drugs ‘‘to get back on track financially’’ and said he believed the drugs were ‘‘pingers’’.
But the blue tablets were analysed and were allegedly revealed to be ‘‘Blue Scissors’’ or ‘‘Blue Bunnies’’, which are so named because they are stamped with an emblem of a pair of scissors which also resemble rabbit ears, court documents state.
