The annual St Matthew's Fair on the Square had dogs of all shapes and sizes and plenty of onlookers also enjoying live entertainment.
Organisers of the dog show, Lyn Winnel and Jenny Prince were ecstatic at the number of entrants.
"We're overwhelmed by how many people attended," Mrs Prince said.
"Everybody got prizes, many and ribbons and they said they're all coming back."
Mrs Winnel said the event was a great display of community spirit.

Beth Sturton took home the grand champion award for her two dogs Corona and Sebastian.
