Wrong signal: Robbie Mackinlay and Simon Corr were beaten finalists at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards for their grand final calls.
The Border crew, headed by Simon Corr and Robbie Mackinlay, was a finalist for coverage of the 2014 Ovens and Murray and Tallangatta grand finals.
However, K-Rock won for its coverage of the Hawthorn-Port Adelaide 2014 preliminary final.
The awards were held on the Gold Coast with Neil Mitchell, who is heard on 2AY, winning best current affairs presenter.
