A MAN who broke into several businesses and a home in Wangaratta has been busted trying to enter a backyard.

Police arrested the 29-year-old Wangaratta man after the five break-ins, which occurred at the weekend.
The man targeted four unattended businesses and a home, stealing about $2000 cash, three computers, a laptop and other items.
Police recovered most of the items from his car.
He was arrested without incident.
He will face court on December 14.
