The Hawks are hoping for improvement after injuries saw them crash out of the finals in week the first week this season, and have signed a number of recruits to help them up the ladder in 2016.
Former Gold Coast Suns Tyrone Downie heads up the list, with Goulburn Valley league premiership ruckman Brodie Avard also committing to the club.
Former Yarrawonga and Yarroweyah key forward Lucas Olsen, Yarroweyah's Keegan Oliver and Gouburn Valley veteran Spiro Vourgalis have all committed as well.
Former Murray Bushrangers Dion Metzner and Ted Wallis have also joined.
Ramsdale said attracting young players had been key.
“To attract young players who live locally is a real plus for us, it's pleasing to develop to a point where we attract quality recruits,” he said.
