Club secretary Jenni Schilg said the championship show and obedience trial would run over Saturday and Sunday from 9am, with entries from throughout the North East and Riverina as well as Melbourne and Sydney.
“It's a fantastic place to go along if you're looking to get a dog," Ms Schilg said.
"You can go and talk to the breeder about what their temperament's like.
"Basically it's a bit like show and tell; they bring their dogs along, they put them in the ring, they go through their paces, the judges judge them, but then they're more than happy to have a chat.”
Entry to the dog show is free and available via Eames Street, off North Street. No outside dogs permitted.
