Businesses which take part in the program will receive $5 taxi vouchers to give to ensure staff get home safely from their Christmas party.
Employers are asked to contribute $2 for each taxi voucher and Albury Council covers the remaining $3.
Upon registering for the program, businesses receive tips on how to host a safe Christmas party.
Albury traffic committee chairman Cr Graham Docksey said businesses hosting Christmas parties must be mindful how their workers get home.
“Businesses are becoming more aware of their responsibilities," he said.
"An increasing number of them are considering different transport options."
