WET WEEKEND: Temperatures will stay warm but clouds and up to 30mm of rain are expected on the Border on Saturday and Sunday.
Up to 30mm of rain has been forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology.
Long range weather forecaster John Moore said October has been far warmer this year than in the past.
“Particularly for Albury-Wodonga this rain is very important,” he said.
“It’s probably a bit late for hay making, but it should certainly help improve farmers’ crops.”
