The Cycle Station Nail Can Hill Youth Mountainbike series wraps up this weekend with 25 10 to 16-year-olds strapping on helmets for the event.
There are spot prizes on offer, as well as two Giant mountain bikes from sponsor Cycle Station in Albury.
Race director Marcus Richardson said the series this year had encouraged youth to be actively involved in sport and competition.
“The series is mainly about participation but we are also recording times to keep it competitive,” he said.

Mr Richardson said the participants stretched from across the north east.
"We've had kids from Bright, Mt Beauty, Wangaratta and Benalla,” he said.
“It's nice to see them come and have a go.”
A schools cup was also up for the taking.
"We've incorporated a schools cup and will award a trophy at the end of the series,” he said.
