Halloween fever has swept the Border ahead of the weekend’s festivities.
Anyone wishing to be transformed is encouraged to attend.
Participants who want dress up can arrive at 3pm to join a make-up workshop.
Council arts development officer Elise Armitage said previous events had attracted younger age groups.
"The Zombie Walk has proven to be a very popular event for young people in our community, yet the Zombie Walk is a global phenomenon, with lots of walks all over the world on Halloween,” she said.
The aptly named band Spookie Ukies will guide the parade down High Street.
