Captain Matt Armstrong returns after missing last week’s home loss against Belvoir, while Clint Reid looks set to play his first game since the grand final win over East Albury.
The premiers will only get stronger as the season progresses, with English star Andrew Weighell, Ned McCormack and Fraser Bremner still to return to the side.
Tallangatta is expected to make light work of the young Raiders, who almost pulled off a shock win over New City last week.
“They will definitely improve as the season goes on,” Armstrong said.
“They’re young and will get better each week.
“Hopefully they can stay competitive and get one or two this this season.”
In other games, East Albury hosts Lavington in a replay of last season’s semi-final at Alexandra Park.
The Crows bowled the Panthers out for 84 that day and made 3-191 in reply.
But clubs enter this one desperate for a win.
East Albury made just 110 in last week’s loss to Albury, while Lavington couldn’t reach its target of 108 against Wodonga.
Elsewhere, Belvoir hosts Albury and New City travels to North Albury.
