That’s the opinion of acting coach Zac Guilfoyle, who’s side is hoping to defend 8-198 against Greta at the Norm Minns Oval.
“We’ve defended scores of 110 in the past so I’d be really disappointed if we let this game slip,” Guilfoyle said.
“Having said that, they’ve (Greta) got two or three batsmen who could really get a hold of you.
“We need a couple of early scalps to swing the game our way.”
The Magpies attack will again be without fast bowler Guilfoyle, who is in a moon boot after breaking his foot in round one.
He’s hoping to return after the Christmas break.
Elsewhere, Corowa is defending 240 away to Benalla Violet Town United, the Benalla Bushrangers are chasing Rovers United Bruck’s 154, Beechworth is defending 185 against City Colts and Yarrawonga-Mulwala is chasing Ovens Valley United’s 109.
