Between The Clouds is the 2015 Studio Ensemble production, in association with Australian Theatre for Young People.
"More than half of us are in Year 12 so it's been pretty full on balancing exams and everything," cast member Georgie Currie, from Albury High School, said.
"It's actually really nice because it gives you a little bit of perspective in terms of exams.
“Exams are important but this is also a really good thing to be doing."
Currie, and several other performers, yesterday sat their final HSC exam, which coincidently was Drama.
Writer Julia-Rose Lewis worked with the young actors to develop the script, which used social media to explore human relationships.
“I'm really impressed with the cast, I think they've done a incredible job," Lewis said.
Between The Clouds plays at The Butter Factory Theatre, Gateway Village, until November 20.
