A crowd gathered as a range of looks were paraded in front of the judges.
Knee-length dresses were a “must” for the ladies as seen on the winner, Rebecca Scott, who the judges said constructed a complete look from head-to-toe.
The Cobram milliner said she bought her green floral dress first, then made the headpiece to match.
Her partner, Glenn Feldtmann, took out the best dressed man award with his grey and peach attire.
Albury's Hannah Wileman won the millinery section with a unique black leather headband.
She said she tried to keep up with current race trends including smaller pieces and more metallic colours.
