Cafe Grove will host the event on November 18 at 7pm.
Co-proprietor Trevor Broadbent said he had been working with Sharon Green from the Australian Breastfeeding Association to organise the session.
“Sharon will be speaking to business owners and staff as to how businesses can best support breastfeeding mothers in our community,” he said.
“It’s more than just mothers’ rights, it’s also their needs she will talk about.
“Every retail outlet at some point will have breastfeeding mother come to their establishment and at that stage they need to know how they can best support them.
“In light of the situation I had, I can see how a business owner could act in a certain manner through lack of knowledge - that's the whole point of information night.”
