Mrs Mirabella and Indi MP Cathy McGowan are both taking credit for attracting 30 upgraded or new towers in the electorate in round one.
Mrs Mirabella said a report she prepared in 2013 for former communications minister Malcolm Turnbull laid the foundation for the initial rollout.
"It included input from councils, farmers, CFAs, community groups and individual submissions and I will be getting information from a wide range of groups again," she said.
Ms McGowan said the Indi telecommunications advisory group was primed for round two and councils were preparing their bids.
