Coutts, who is also the senior football manager, hopes to finish up with approximately 50 players in total over the three grades – seniors, under-20s and under-18s.
He’s already satisfied with the quality of players at the NPL1 East club, but won’t shut the door on recruits.
“We’ve had a large number of players interested from outside the area, however, we are keen to promote from within,” Coutts said.
“We believe there’s enough quality within the area to be successful.
“We’ve got a lot of talent coming through.
“It’s about creating an environment for those boys to make their way through the Murray United system.”
Murray United will start its player trials for the seniors, under-20s and under-18s at the Albury Hockey Centre on Saturday from 10-12.
Murray United finished eighth of 10 teams in its debut season.
