Sergeant Mal Clarke, Senior Constable Travis Aylmore and Constable Ben Ryan focused on offences including car thefts and break-ins after a spike in incidents.
“It was looking at what we would call recidivist offenders and volume crimes, including residential burglaries, car thefts and associated thefts,” Superintendent O’Halloran said.
“I think their dedication and commitment to tackling high-volume crime that was impacting the community was certainly worthy of recognition.”
Senior Sergeant Doug Incoll and retired Leading Senior Constable Barry Harris were recognised for 35 years of service.
Bradley Beecroft received the National Emergency Medal for his work during the Black Saturday bushfires in 2009.
A further 40 service medals were given to other officers.
