Police have located former Albury man Graham Mailes – responsible for the murder of Albury teenager Kim Meredith in 1996 – after he went missing from the State’s Southern Tablelands.

Graham Mailes, 42, had last been seen about 10.45am on Sunday (November 8), in Nichols Street, Goulburn.
His disappearance was reported to police from The Hume Local Area Command, who patrolled the area looking for him; however he could not be located.
Just after 9pm today on Thursday, inquiries resulted in officers attached to Canobolas Local Area Command locating the man at the back of a home on Adina Crescent, Orange.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for ongoing treatment.
No one was injured during the incident and police thank the public for their assistance.
