After a hectic season in Europe, the memorial will be one of two races Holder will compete in during the Australian summer.
Holder and Jones were good friends before the promising Albury rider died at Myrtleford Speedway in November, 2005.
Albury-Wodonga Motorcycle Club president Shane Clare said the race had attracted leading riders including Sam Masters, Max Fricke, Justin Sedgman, Jack Holder, Ty Proctor, Taylor Poole and Kevin Doolan.
“The high regard held for Ashley and his family within the speedway racing community is evident in the line up of riders who have signed on for the event in his memory,” Clare said.
Support classes for the main event include under-16 250cc, 450cc flat track and veterans speedway.
Mitch Wolfe, Josh Antone, Jay Herne, Tim McGregor and Chris Seaton will lead the Border assault.
Gates open at 4pm.
