On Saturday that will change as two grace the tracks for a one-of-a-kind heritage tour to Albury from Melbourne.
Organiser Kevin Schultz said he was looking forward to something different.
“I want every one having a good day and for them to enjoy themselves,” he said.
“They're all there for a great ride and to raise money for the Cancer Council.”
Mr Schultz said over 300 people were booked in, something he had not initially expected in planning.
“I never dreamed it could’ve become this big,” he said.
The train will arrive at 1.45pm and return to Melbourne at 5.45pm.
A gold coin donation will allow enthusiasts in to the drivers cab.
