YARRAWONGA’S Tyson Cromie and Wodonga’s Kylie Whitehead stole the show in their Ovens and Murray Bowls Association A1 debuts at Wodonga on Saturday.

Tyson, 13, became the youngest player to play in the top grade when he led for Rob Tait, while Whitehead, 21, was outstanding as Ashley Bates’ lead.
Whitehead is a member of the Victorian State Ladies side.

“It was great to see two young players do so well,” Bates said.
“Kylie played very well for me as lead and Tyson did well too.
“I don’t think there has ever been a 13-year-old play A1 before.”
Tyson’s father, Tim, skips in the top grade for Yarrawonga.
Wodonga ran-out comfortable 117-73 victors over Yarrawonga with Wodonga’s Andrew Batterham leading the way with a 33-16 victory over Tait.
Bates edged out Tim Cromie 23-20 and Josh Rudd accounted for Kevin Evans 28-18.
John Dawson made an impressive return, winning 33-19.
Benalla defeated Corowa Services 114-65, Corowa Civic scored a comfortable 101-74 victory over Myrtleford and Wangaratta edged out YMGCR 96-88.
