The Dogs are defending just 110 at the Les Cheesley Oval, but have already taken two wickets to have the Eagles 2-27 in reply.
“If any side can do it, it’s Wodonga,” Belvoir captain Mick Russell said.
“It’s not an easy pitch to bat on and Wodonga have some good length bowlers.
“One thing we don’t want to do is go in our shell.
“We’ve got to play with a bit of intent and back ourselves to play shots.”
Jack Holt resumes unbeaten on eight, while Nat Sariman is on 13.
Brad Freake was the star of the show for Belvoir, taking 4-40, while Matt Jaensch took 2-45 from a mammoth 24-over spell.
Russell said the first hour of play next week would be crucial to the result.
“The deck plays a bit low and it was good bowling from both teams,” he said.
“I wouldn’t say it’s in the bag by any stretch of the imagination.”
