Blast to the Past is open to the public and will run daily from Monday, December 7 to Thursday, December 10 at 9.30am, 11.40am and 1.50pm, and from 7pm on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Year 6 teacher Phil Shanahan told The Border Mail the production was a “musical spectacular” completely written and produced by 71 year 6 students.
“It’s not your average school show,” he said.
“Doctor Who’s tardis takes them through different decades to track down Marty’s mum and dad.”
The show is tailored for adults and children, featuring songs from the ‘80s to early 2000s.
Mr Shanahan said the production helped to transition boys into music and the arts.
“Boys don’t traditionally go to high school and put their names down for drama,” he said.
“We’ve had kids that have gone on to be in All Saints and Neighbours.
“They look forward to it its one of the highlights at St Pat’s.”
At an entry cost of a gold coin donation, all proceeds will go to the Children First Foundation.
Last year raised $1000 for the charity and was 20th anniversary of the production.
