8am There has been no major change to Tim Levesque’s status overnight in Albury Hospital.
His family is expected to release another statement later this morning revealing more details on his condition.
EARLIER: SS&A Club president Eddie Dunlop fought back tears in confirming his chief executive officer Tim Levesque was fighting for his life in Albury hospital on Tuesday.
Mr Dunlop and Mr Levesque have worked side-by-side since 2010 arresting the club's one-time dire financial position.
The 45-year-old father of four joined the SS&A Club late the previous year following the dismissal of his predecessor Andrew Terry five months earlier.
The SS&A Club's debt at the time was $10.4 million.
Mr Levesque had been the chief executive officer at Mulwala Water Ski Club since 2002 after being born and bred in neighbouring Yarrawonga.
"Me and him have come through a lot," Mr Dunlop said.
"He has been a friend and an ambassador to this club.
"While he is still there we will fight and pray for him and his family.
"It's what we intend to do."
Mr Dunlop was elected to the SS&A Club board at a turbulent time in its history when only two members of the previous board survived a spill at a fiery annual meeting.
The problems largely centred on the poor financial performance of the Wodonga golf club which the SS&A Club took over in the mid-2000s.
The club also made tough calls to shut the Wodonga Country and Winsor Park bowling clubs as part of a wide-ranging debt reduction strategy.
Mr Levesque announced earlier this year a deal had been reached with a North-East business consortium to buy the Wodonga golf course for a still to be disclosed figure.
The new owners take over on May 31 next year with the sale proceeds to take a major bite out of the club's current debt of $7.1 million.
Mr Dunlop, vice-presidents Mick Fowler and Mark Leman and assistant manager Gerard Darmody fronted a 2pm press conference at the SS&A Club to update the condition of Mr Levesque.
The media conference was also attended by other board members, business partners including representatives from Dutch Media and Ovens and Murray Football-Netball League general manager Aaron McGlynn and operations manager Greg Dawson.
The club recently extended its long-term major sponsorship with the O and M.
The SS&A Club is due to open its redeveloped outdoor gaming area in coming weeks and its Locker Room sports bar area has been another success story.
