IN the end, the lure of again playing alongside older brother Nick was too hard for Kris Holman to resist.

Holman signed with Jindera on Wednesday night, making the Hume league club one of the front-runners for the 2016 premiership.
Holman said it was a very tough decision to leave North Albury.
But he said he hadn’t closed the door on a return to Bunton Park in the future.
The 25-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the Bulldogs.
“I’ve always enjoyed playing footy with my brother,” Holman said.
“I’m hoping to go there and be successful.
“Hopefully the list that they’ve got can do the job.
“I’m relieved to get it done.
“It was a very hard decision.”
Holman leaves North in the prime of his career, having represented the Ovens and Murray at interleague level for the past two seasons.
His run and carry and his pin-point delivery across half back has made him one of the league’s premier running defenders.
Jindera president Andy Stuart said the club was thrilled to add another star to the Dogs’ playing list.
“These things don’t come Hume league clubs ways very often,” Stuart said.
“It’s a great time for our club.
“We hope for another successful year.
“We were always hopeful that we may have been able to get him.
“For us as a club to get Nick was amazing, but to get both boys is fantastic.
“He was rewarded this year with his spot in the Ovens and Murray side.”
Holman played junior football at Lavington before progressing to the Murray Bushrangers.
He joined North Albury with his three brothers in 2009 after their father, Peter, was appointed under-18s coach.
The Holman brothers continue a concerning exodus at North Albury.
So far, confirmed departures from Bunton Park include the Holmans, Kristian Cary, Jordan Harrington, Tom Weldon, Adam Elias, Kylin Morey, Rhys Dempsey, Daniel Lieschke and Josh Minogue.
Josh, Hunter and Ben Lloyd appear unlikely to stay at the club.
Holman said he didn’t leave on bad terms.
“People at North know the reason,” he said.
North’s loss is Jindera’s gain.
The club made this year’s preliminary final, losing to Henty by 82 points in the grand final qualifier.
But while the Dogs have lost Ben Dower and Isaac Pound, Josh Walker’s side is shaping up as one of the team’s to beat next year.
