Daniel Chu, Nicola and Alex Baines and Charlie Borella have enjoyed a strong year on the representative front.
The youngsters represented the 11-member Riverina team in the NSW Combined High Schools Championships in Newcastle.
Alex was then named in the state team to play in the Trans Tasman Challenge.
The challenge is alternately hosted by NSW, Queensland and New Zealand.
Charlie was selected in the NSW Combined High Schools team in 2013 and travelled to New Zealand to compete.
Alex also played in the Australian Junior Championships in Cairns in September and came 13th in the under-15 boys.
He is presently ranked 12th in Australia for the age group.
Alex, Daniel and Nicola regularly play tournaments in Melbourne on the Victorian circuit.
“These local junior squash players have been attending junior coaching on Saturday mornings for a number of years now,” Wodonga coaching representative Pam Heffey said.
“They are doing exceptionally well at local, state and interstate squash levels, sometimes playing against adults.
“Their attitude and approach to playing is an example to the other up-and-coming young players in this area.
“This is due to their commitment to the sport as well as to the great support of their coaches and parents.
‘We are proud of them.”
