A drug dealer has been sent to jail after pleading guilty to his part in a multi-million dollar Wangaratta drug ring.

Wangaratta man Mark Seymour, 26, was one of four people to be sentenced so far for their roles in trafficking methamphetamine during 2014, but the first to go to jail.
He appeared in Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday and was sentenced to a total of nine months, but already served six months on remand.
He was ordered to complete drug treatment on a community corrections order when released.
Wangaratta man Jarrad White, 25, was also placed on a 12-month community corrections order for his role in the trafficking.
The drug syndicate’s joint ringleader, Jessica Short, 25, pleaded guilty to trafficking and firearms charges on Wednesday and will have her case heard in the County Court in February.
