From prep to year 10, 17 students took part in this year’s MS Readathon, Australia’s longest running reading-based fundraiser.
Librarian Trish Wild said students raised more than $1000 for the cause every year by negotiating sponsorship with friends and family for each book they read.
“For 22 years, we’ve been part of the Readathon,” Ms Wild said.
“We’ve decided we would stick with it as it has a two-fold effect where the students get great enjoyment, as well as helping others with MS.
“They’re done very well.”
