A humorous and poignant take on the meaning of Christmas, the show explores relationships, poverty, bereavement and miracles.
The show is based on the book The Visit by author Adrian Plass who will tour Australia in February.
Bishop Gillion adapted it for stage, incorporating light, sound and plenty of visual cues to express a message of hope that appeals to a wide range of audiences.
“I hope the production will show how dynamic and down to earth our faith can be,” Bishop Gillion says.
“For me, actually performing the play is my way of offering an opportunity to share my faith in the way I know best through drama and story.”
