She will take on incumbent Liberal MP and Health Minister Sussan Ley.
Dr Cohn, 26, works at the base hospital and has campaigned for gay marriage.

In the Greens corner: Amanda Cohn will contest the seat of Farrer against Liberal incumbent Sussan Ley at next year's election.
She trained at the Border's medical school and is also involved in the Albury SES.
"From inadequate housing or discrimination, to lack of employment or transport, I felt I could make a bigger difference to my patients’ lives by getting involved in politics,” Dr Cohn said.
