We want to talk a brief walk down memory lane to remember what were the most popular photo galleries for the past year.

Our huge gallery based around Australia day proved to be the most popular photo gallery on The Border Mail's website and it's easy to see why.
From barbecues to citizenship ceremonies and everything in between there is always plenty going on the 26th day of the month.

Keeping on the river and Australia Day theme, Albury’s Mike Elkington proudly showed off his floating palace.
Spending more than 15 hours upgrading his simple inflatable raft into one that featured a car stereo and a car battery and solar panel, Mr Elkingong went all out.

Up to 30 snakes were on the loose in Culcairn after their owner set them free from his burning rental property.
Amateur snake breeder Richard Sutton recovered only two of the non-venomous pythons soon after the incident.

Two women and a number of diners were lucky to have escaped injury after a car smashed through the window at Wodonga's APCO service station.
