A MAN has been charged over a Cobram hit and run that left a bike rider with serious injuries.

The incident occurred on the Murray Valley Highway about 6.30am on September 12.
A vehicle struck the 43-year-old rider.
Both are though to have been travelling west at the time of the incident.
The driver left the scene and the rider was taken to hospital.
Police had appealed for information following the incident.
A 52-year-old Nathalia man has been charged with negligently causing serious injury, failing to stop at the scene and failing to assist at the scene.
He has been bailed to face Cobram Magistrates Court on February 3.
