We want to talk a brief walk down memory lane to remember what were the most popular galleries and photos for the past year.
Today we look back at May and take a peek at what drew your attention when it came to stories.

The alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl in Albury was revealed as a false report, with police confirming the investigation concluded and they are no longer sought three men.

Again tragic news was unfortunately the basis for our third most popular story of the month of May.
Sixteen-year-old Spencer Michael Botting was the passenger in a dual-cab ute was travelling towards Yackandandah along Wodonga-Yackandandah Road when it left the road and rolled.

Again the tragic story of Spencer Botting dominated during the month, with the impromptu roadside vigil to honour his memory being the fourth most popular story of the month.
Friends gathered by the roadside and remembered a boy with a cheeky grin who was taken far too soon.

THE father of a Wodonga teenager killed in a car crash at Staghorn Flat made a passionate and tearful plea for changes to driving laws, which formed the basis for our fifth most read story for the month.
Spencer Botting, 16, was killed when the vehicle he was travelling in rolled on the Wodonga-Yackandandah Road.
