Dartmouth: don’t forget the Macquarie Perch season opens January 1. There is still some good trout being trolled deep or on fenders and flatfish. Some great bags of yabbies too so bring up your pots.
Hume: yellas are still moving but have slowed a bit. Some nice reddies though on yabbies and casting vibes around.
Streams: are looking great for Christmas, with lots of small fish about and the occasional big bloke. Lures, fly and bait fishos all going well.
Khancoban: the odd good trout and a fair few reddies are being caught. Best to hit it early and late.
Eucumbene and Snowy lakes: fishing ok but the hot weather and falling water could cause problems.
Mulwala: fishing pretty well. Few cod coming off the surface early and late.
Russ’s Rippa: open every day except Christmas Day.
