NVLX Wodonga is expected to be the centre of activity for the annual weaner and feature female sales, which begin on Thursday, January 7 .
The sales span three weeks and traditionally draw feature lines supplied from Narrandera to Mansfield and beyond.
A kind winter and spring has boosted some regions, and many cattle usually offered at feature weaner sales have already been sold, at good prices.
Potential buyers should expect supply to be close to 60 per cent of levels seen in recent years.
This, coupled with mostly good quality cattle, should aid strong competition.
