The all-rounder is one of 14 named in the squad for the championships in Alice Springs in February.
King and Bohdi Walker were Victoria's leading wicket takers at the 2015 event.
The National Indigenous Cricket Championships has been a division of the all-Indigenous cricket carnival the Imparja Cup since 2001.
The male tournament will be played in Alice Springs from February 7-16, while the female series will be held from February 10-16.
The Victorian women's side will look to go one better than last time when it made it to the final.
King was part of the Noogal Toengorrt Tani development squad which toured Dubai earlier this year, where he got to meet English cricket star Kevin Pietersen.
The tour started with a training camp before games against India, Pakistan and England.
