The angel said, “Don't be afraid, I bring good news...a saviour has been born”.
This message is still good news today where we often feel afraid for the plight of refugees, terror attacks and even fires threatening our homes.
But the good news is we have a saviour. Jesus came to save us.
Because of Jesus’ birth we can know that God loves us – he sent us his son.
Through Jesus’ death in the cross we can be forgiven – he died for us.
Through Jesus’ coming we can know God and his presence personally right in the midst of many things that would otherwise terrify us.
Have a wonderful Christmas, we have a saviour!
